First Craft Sale of 2012

The first craft sale of the year came and went.

 

Gwen and I set up about 10% of our wears on a teeny-tiny table supplied to us, in the basement of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church.

 

The organizers who were a group of really nice ladies told us that they had 450 people through by 3PM which would be a great turn out if they were actually buying stuff.

 

I think that by the time they reached our table they were just spent. The baking table was conveniently located at the top of the stairs as people came in, then they were asked to pay a $2 cover...and the smell of those onions frying for the hot dogs the volunteers were making seemed to just call to everyone. There were also 6 other vendors selling jewellery and even though we all had different styles, there may have been too much to choose from.
